First of all, they must fill in and complete an online health declaration form and scan its QR code when arriving in the country. This applies to all nationalities and no matter the travel purpose. Requirements to Leave Mexico for the United States

While there are no vaccine nor Covid-19 test requirements when entering Mexico, leaving the country is another story.

If you’re planning to travel from Mexico to the United States you will need to get proof of negative Covid-19 test issued at most 72 hours before departure. Getting tested for Covid-19 is very easy in Mexico and there are many available locations to do so.

Moreover, non-essential travel from Mexico to the United States is currently suspended through October 21st.

What to Expect When Traveling to Mexico

All social activities are permitted and businesses are allowed to be open observing a 50% maximum capacity. Everyone has to wear a mask in all public places.
